WORLD HOCKEY FORUM UNVEILED DURING THE IIHF CONGRESS IN PARIS

 

 

The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) congress took place in Paris on the 8th and 9th of September. Representative of 77 countries discussed the progress which has been made in the first half of 2016, and developed an action-plan for the near future. During the congress, the World Hockey Forum (WHF) was officially unveiled.

Vladislav Tretiak – a member of the IIHF council – headed the Russian delegation at the event. The World Hockey Forum, scheduled to take place in Moscow on the 16th and 17th of December, was officially unveiled to the participants of the congress.

With the active participation of the IIHF and the Russian Ministry of Sport, the Forum will be charged with creating a platform which will search for and discuss potential opportunities for the development of ice hockey. The leading ice hockey experts as well as professionals from a range of industries shall be invited

The Forum program was also presented at the Paris congress. The idea of such an event attracted a great deal of interest among all the participants.
